Virtual Reality (VR) South Africa

To most people, virtual reality is famous for its use in gaming. But its potential goes so far beyond that. It can take any vision and make it possible - the only limit is your imagination.

To most people, virtual reality is famous for its use in gaming. But its potential goes so far beyond that. It can take any vision and make it possible - the only limit is your imagination. This makes it perfect for so many uses: promotions, marketing, training, education, remote meetings, and data visualisation, to name a few.

It is a virtual, i.e. not real, environment consisting of sound, video and/or 3D graphics, viewed on a computer, mobile device or through virtual reality headsets, all designed to make the user feel that what they are seeing is real.

Usually the environment is immersive as well, meaning that the user can interact with it in some way, for example by pushing buttons and seeing changes to the virtual world. This can be achieved using simple input methods such as keyboards and hand controllers, or using more complex methods such as hand or body gesture control with sensors such as the Leap Motion or Xbox Kinect.

With the combination of realistic graphics and interaction, virtual reality can create an unforgettable experience – which is exactly what you’re looking for.

At Speak Geek, we love making our clients vision a reality. Our lead visual effects artist has over 10 years of experience in creating 3D visuals for marketing campaigns and animated big screen movies, as well as lecturing 3D animation at Boston Media House. He loves the challenge of taking 2D ideas and turning them into 3D masterpieces. In fact, we have a hard time getting him to leave his desk at the end of the day, and hand his work over to our experienced team of software developers who breathe life into the incredible visuals and transform them into a living vision.
